Ghouls are predatory creatures that feed off of humans and ghouls alike. They use kagunes, biological weapons, to hunt their prey. They are also at war with the CCG, who are trying to protect humanity. You can choose to be a ghoul when you begin playing the game, and you will start with a kagune of Rabbit, Gourmet, Eyepatch, or Serpent. Ghouls have enhanced regeneration, as well as increased physical abilities.
